Cut the bamboo shoots in half lengthwise and make a grid pattern on each cut side. Mix the sauce ingredients together

Heat salad oil in a frying pan and fry the bamboo shoots with the flat side facing down

Once browned, flip over and brown all over

Once browned, add the sauce and mix quickly

If you have some bamboo shoot skins, use them as a container and add the grilled bamboo shoots to complete the dish
