Basic hamburger
Finely chop the onion and fry in a little oil until translucent, then let cool
Place ground meat, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a bowl
Add the cooled onions and knead with your hands until the mixture becomes sticky
Squeeze out the air and form into an oval shape, making a small depression in the center
Heat oil in a frying pan and brown over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side
Cover and steam over low heat for 5 minutes, then check with a bamboo skewer to see if the juices are clear
Remove the meat and boil the remaining fat with ketchup, sauce and butter
Pour the sauce over the hamburger steak and it's done
