Stir-fried asparagus with bacon

By stir-frying the tougher ends of the asparagus first, the texture of the finished dish will be more consistent.
Since the whole grain mustard is salty, we don't bother using soy sauce or anything else.

Remove about 2cm from the base of the asparagus, peel it with a peeler and cut it diagonally. Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces

Heat salad oil in a frying pan, add the tougher parts of the asparagus and bacon, and sauté.
Once the bacon is lightly browned, add the tips of the asparagus and sauté briefly. Add sake, mirin, and whole grain mustard, and sauté for about 3 minutes until everything is cooked through.
