Boiled pumpkin
Cut the pumpkin into bite-sized pieces and place skin side up in the pot
Bring dashi, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar to a boil and then pour in
Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat until soft
Turn off the heat and let it sit for a while to let the flavors soak up
Serve in bowls and enjoy hot
