Wash the rice and soak it for 30 minutes, then drain in a colander

Add the canned scallops (including the juice), bacon, and [A] to the drained rice, then pour in bonito stock up to the 2-cup line and cook

Once cooked, stir and serve in a bowl, topped with white sesame seeds and shredded shiso leaves

  • the bacon into 1cm pieces
    50g
  • [A]
    Light soy sauce
    1 tablespoon
  • Mirin
    1 tablespoon
  • Alcohol
    1 tablespoon
  • Bonito dashi
    Up to the 2-go line
  • White sesame for finishing
    Appropriate amount
  • Shiso leaves for finishing, shredded
