Put the egg yolks and 15g of caster sugar into a bowl and mix well with a whisk until the mixture becomes pale and falls in a ribbon when lifted
In another bowl, add the egg whites and the remaining caster sugar from step 1 and beat with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form
Add a small amount of ② to bowl ① and mix thoroughly with a rubber spatula, then add the remaining ② and mix
Sift the cake flour and cornstarch together into the mixture (③), mix well with a rubber spatula, and place in a piping bag fitted with a round nozzle
Place a baking sheet on a baking tray, draw a line down the middle, and squeeze out ④ into 8cm lengths. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and bake in a 180℃ oven for about 8 minutes
