It means "ugly but tasty." This is a snack that will enjoy the texture, so chop the hazelnuts and almonds roughly.
How to make it

Put the hazelnuts and almonds in a frying pan and lightly roast, then remove the hazelnut skin once it has peeled, remove the skin, and roughly chop it with a knife.

Put the egg whites in a bowl and add the powdered sugar little by little, whisk thoroughly using a hand mixer to make a firm meringue.

Add vanilla essence and ① to ② and mix lightly with a rubber spatula, then put in a frying pan and mix on a wooden spatula, until the mixture turns colored.

Spoon ③ on a baking sheet lined with an oven sheet, and bake in an oven at 160°C for 35 to 45 minutes.
