Prunes boiled in red wine

After putting the prunes in the pot, the key is to slowly simmer the syrup over low heat, as if to boil them down. If you boil it on high heat, it can cause burning or the fruit to collapse. It's delicious even when it's warm or cooled.

Prunes are used after removing seeds.

Put all the ingredients [A] in a pot and heat it over medium heat. Once it reaches a boil, add the prunes and lemon juice and simmer for about 30-40 minutes.

Serve in a bowl and topped with mint leaves and lemon peels if desired.
