Steamed chicken with sweet potatoes
Cut the sweet potato into sticks about 1.5cm x 1.5cm x 10cm and steam until soft
Remove the skin from the chicken breast and cut it into two rectangles. Make a hole in the thick part of the meat and insert the sweet potato (1) into it
Sprinkle salt and pepper on [2], wrap tightly in plastic wrap, and seal both ends tightly. Place in a steamer and steam for about 10 minutes
Once steamed, remove the plastic wrap, cut into bite-sized pieces and arrange in a serving dish
Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise and use a peeler to slice it into several thin slices. Stack them into ribbons and arrange them in the bowl (4)
Make the savory sauce. Mix salt, finely chopped ginger, and white onion in a bowl, then add heated salad oil from a frying pan to bring out the aroma. Add sliced chili peppers and mix quickly
Pour the fragrant sauce (6) over (5) and it's done
