Cherry Compote
It's a delicious dessert on its own, but it's a recipe that can be used in a variety of desserts, such as jelly and tarts.
How to make it

Place all ingredients in a pan and simmer over low heat for 5-6 minutes until the cherries are soft.

Remove from the heat and place the juice in an airtight container, then place in the fridge overnight to allow the flavor to blend.
