Preparing the Artichokes
Cut off the tough stems of the artichokes, then tear off the surrounding calyx with your hands, like peeling the petals of a flower, until the dark green part is gone
If there are any tough sides from the stem to the base, scrape them off with a knife
Cut it in half lengthwise and remove the cilia inside with a spoon or bamboo skewer
Fill a bowl with water, add lemon juice, and let [3] soak for about 10 minutes
Then drain and use in your favorite dishes, such as baking or frying
