How to make it

Heat 1 tablespoon of salad oil in a frying pan and fry the walnuts from [1]. Once they are fragrant, remove them from the frying pan and press a bowl on top to crush them finely

Fry the crushed walnuts from step 1 again in a frying pan. When they turn a deep brown, add the maple syrup and mix well

Mix the octopus cut into bite-sized pieces and the walnuts from [2] while still hot and it's done
