Okra-filled wonton

This wonton has a okra texture. You can eat it while pouring it on top like dumplings, or it can be eaten in a soup-style dish.

How to make it

When the okra is peeled off, remove the stem, rub it with salt, and quickly boil it. Wipe off any moisture and cut into small pieces.

Add the minced meat, whole eggs, flour, Hachi-mi Bijin, and chopped okra in a bowl and mix well.

Wrap the minced bean paste from [3] with wonton skin.

Place the soup ingredients in a pot and heat them. Once it boils, add the wontons and boil for about 7-8 minutes.

Remove from the heat and serve in a bowl. Topped with black pepper if desired and complete.

    20g
  • flour
    1 tsp
  • Happo-mibijin (can be used as a substitute with soy sauce + mirin)
    1/2 tbsp
  • Wonton skin
    Appropriate amount
  • [soup]
    Bonito dashi
    2 cups
  • Happo-mibijin (can be used as a substitute with soy sauce + mirin)
    50cc
  • Sesame oil
    1 tablespoon
