How to make it

It's best to use the small inner part of the lily bulb. Make slits with a knife and shape them into petals

Dissolve the food coloring in a small amount of hot water. Add the food coloring dissolved in water with a little vinegar, add the lily root, and heat. The color tends to fade easily when cooked with honey, so it's best to make the liquid a slightly darker color

Cook over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Once the color has developed, you can remove it from the pot. Transfer to ice water and let it cool

Put [A] into a pot and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and add the lily bulb from [3]. Bring to a boil again, then remove from the heat and place the pot in ice water to cool
