Broccoli puree soup

Parboil the broccoli beforehand. (If possible, parboil it and then soak it in a basic vegetable soup to absorb the flavor.)
Put broccoli and basic vegetable soup in a blender and puree
Heat the puree from (2) in a saucepan and add sugar and salt
Garnish with thinly sliced sun-dried tomatoes for an accent and you're done
