Basic pork shank meat soup
Pig's trotters have a strong odor, so it's important to parboil them first. The key to making a delicious soup is to carefully remove any scum. The strained soup can be used in stir-fries or as a base for a variety of soups.
Pork shanks and trotters have an unpleasant odor, so they should be parboiled beforehand
Put all the ingredients in a large pot and simmer for 4 hours.
(When the scum rises to the top, carefully remove it.)
Strain the soup and remove the ginger and white onion
Mix all the sauce ingredients together and serve with the pork
