Takenoko's sandwich
Make Chinese-style tartar sauce (see separate recipe)
Cut the bamboo shoots into bite-sized pieces and simmer in a pot with Chinese soup stock, salt, and Shaoxing wine. Add sugar and fragrant oil to adjust the flavor
Spread tartar sauce on the bread and arrange the bamboo shoots (2) on top to make a sandwich
Cut off the ears and cut into bite-sized pieces
