Fried thick asparagus
Cut off about 2cm of the base of the asparagus and peel it with a peeler. Coat the asparagus in plain flour, then in beaten egg white and fresh breadcrumbs
Heat salad oil in a frying pan, add the asparagus, cover with aluminum foil and fry
Once they start to brown, flip them over and cook until golden brown all over
Once cooked, cut it in half and serve on a plate. Serve with salt
