Steamed bitter melon and pork
All you have to do is mix the meat with the seasonings and marinate it, so this is a quick and easy dish to make.
Remove the pith from the bitter melon with a spoon and rub in salt. Once the melon has softened from the salt, slice it thinly
Marinate the seasoned pork in the mixture (A) for about 10 minutes
Add thinly sliced bitter melon and shredded ginger to the bowl of [2] and mix well with chopsticks
Arrange (3) evenly on a plate, top with plenty of white onions, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave until the meat is cooked through. (It tastes even better if you steam it in a steamer.)
Finish by drizzling 2 tablespoons of sesame oil over the dish
