Burdock, clam and green onion soup

Parboil the burdock root first and cut it into thin strips. (If possible, parboil it and then soak it in the basic chicken and clam soup to absorb the flavor.)
Slice the white onion diagonally
Heat the basic chicken and clam soup in a pot and add burdock root, clams, and white onions
Season with salt and black pepper and it's done
