Karasumi Mochi Sandwich
Slice the rice cakes into half the thickness and then cut into 1/2 sizes to form squares. Cut the shavings into 2-3mm thick.
Arrange the rice cakes on the net and place them in a toaster oven to bake. Bake for about 5 minutes, then remove and pour in olive oil and Parmesan cheese.
Scrape the sardines into a set of two grilled rice cakes and make them into sandwiches.
Serve in a bowl, then add the toppings and chopped clams toast and the finished dish.
