Christmas is approaching and the cold is starting to get really strong. Today, we will be introducing roasted pork made with pork shoulder loin.

Pork shoulder loin has a good balance between fat and flesh, and when cooked, it brings out a mellow flavor. By grilling it slowly over time, the meat will have a fragrant browned finish on the surface, and the inside will be soft and full of juice.

By simmering classic vegetables such as onions, garlic and celery together, the flavor of the meat and the sweetness of the vegetables blend beautifully together. It is characterized by its gentle mouthfeel and heartwarming atmosphere.

Recipes

Now, let me introduce you to the recipe.

Ingredients (for 4 people)

  • Pork shoulder loin: 1000g
  • White wine: 400ml
  • Onion: 2
  • Garlic: 1 clove
  • Celery: 2 bottles
  • Mushroom: 1 bottle
  • Bouquet Garni: 1 pc
  • Olive oil: 2 tbsp
  • Water: Appropriate amount
  • Seasonings: salt, pepper

How to make it

  1. Wash the pork shoulder loin under running water and wipe off. Sprinkle with salt and pepper all over.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place olive oil on an oven dish and place the meat on top.
  3. Cook at high temperature for about 20 minutes until the meat is cooked.
  4. Stir in the onions, garlic and celery in a pan, add the white wine and bring to a boil.
  5. Transfer the cooked meat to a pot containing vegetables and simmer over low heat for about 2 hours. Take some time until the meat is cooked.
  6. Add the mushrooms and bouquet garni and simmer for about an hour, adding an appropriate amount of water.
  7. When the meat is cooked and the vegetables are tender, season with salt and pepper.
  8. Add olive oil to finish off and blend well all over.
  9. Serve on a plate while it's still warm and serve with bread or salad if you like.

By grilling the pork shoulder loin and then slowly simmering, the flavor of the meat and the sweetness of the vegetables are a wonderful combination of the flavor.

You can store meat that you can't finish beforehand as a side dish or use it as a side dish for your lunch box.
