Ingredients (for 10 pieces)

  • Eggs…3 pieces
  • Powdered sugar...90g
  • 70g flour
  • 2/3 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 tablespoon salad oil

Filling

  • Candied chestnuts...105g (1 can)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Vanilla extract...a little
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • Chocolate cream...2 tablespoons

decoration

  • Chocolate cream...appropriate amount
  • Decorations (flower sugar candy, holly leaves, etc.) - as needed

How to make it

1. Prepare the filling

Strain the candied chestnuts and mix with butter, sugar, brandy, vanilla extract, and chocolate cream. Once it becomes a paste, chill it in the refrigerator

2. Making the dough

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Separate the egg yolks and whites, add powdered sugar to the yolks and mix until creamy. Add flour and salad oil and mix well

Beat the egg whites until stiff and add them to the yolk mixture in several batches, mixing until fluffy. Pour this mixture into a 23cm x 23cm baking pan and smooth it evenly

3. Baking

Bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the oven onto a damp kitchen towel and roll up the whole thing while it is still warm

4. Filling and assembly

Spread the filling on the cooled dough and roll it up again. Spread the chocolate cream on the outside and create a wood grain pattern with a fork

5. Decoration

Decorate as desired and it's done
