Cut the chikuwa into 4 equal parts lengthwise

Heat 1 tablespoon of light sesame oil in a frying pan. Add the chikuwa (fish cake) from [1] and fry

Once the chikuwa has been coated in oil, add the unsalted butter. When it becomes fragrant, add the Happomibijin and stir-fry to evaporate the moisture

Once the soup has thickened, serve on a plate and garnish with wasabi

    1 tablespoon
  • Unsalted butter
    20g
  • Happo-mibijin (can be used as a substitute with soy sauce + mirin)
    1 tablespoon
