Edamame rubbing

Boil the edamame, then remove the beans from the pod and place them in a bowl filled with water. When you peel off the thin skin in a bowl, only the thin skin will float above the water, so discard the supernatant and separate the thin skin from the beans.

Place the peeled edamame, bonito soup stock, and chicken consomme in a blender and pour until smooth.

Serve in a bowl and topped with fresh cream and pink pepper if desired.
