How to make it

Put the salted wakame in a bowl, wash it thoroughly with water to remove the salt, and drain it in a colander

Put the salted wakame into plenty of boiling water, then immediately drop it into ice water to add color and cool it down. (You can leave it in the water for about 2 seconds.)

Immediately remove from the ice water, drain, spread with your hands and place on a cutting board

The tough part at the base is called the stem wakame. Cut it off with a knife

Cut into bite-sized pieces and you're done
