How to make it

Put the salted wakame in a bowl, wash it thoroughly with water, remove the saltiness, and pour it into a colander.

Add the salted wakame to plenty of boiling water and immediately drop it in ice water to add color and let it cool. (It takes about 2 seconds to pour in the hot water.)

Remove immediately from the ice water, drain the water, spread it with your hands, and place it on a cutting board.

The hard part at the root is the part called the stem wakame. Cut it out with a knife.

Cut it into pieces that are easy to eat and you're done.
