Abalone gratin style
Please also refer to this page for information on the ingredients introduced in this recipe.
Make the white sauce. Put store-bought white sauce and soy milk in a small saucepan and heat until smooth
Remove the abalone from the shell and separate the liver and meat. Remove any dirt from the shell with a scrubbing brush and then sterilize it by placing it in boiling water
Cut the abalone into slices about 5mm thick, place in a frying pan with butter, and fry quickly over high heat
Pour about 2 tablespoons of the white sauce into the abalone shell. Place the abalone meat and lightly blanched abalone liver on top, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and grated cheese, and bake in the toaster
Bake for about 10 minutes, and when it's nicely browned, remove it from the toaster. When placing it on a plate, it's a good idea to make a ring-shaped base out of aluminum foil and place it on top. Finish by topping with parsley to taste
