How to clean squid (pre-treatment)

If a recipe for spear squid calls for "cleaning," do this. If the skin is difficult to peel, try holding the squid down with kitchen paper while peeling it for a cleaner peel
How to make it

Wash the squid with water, insert your thumb into the body to separate the lower legs from the body, and slowly pull the lower legs out to remove it

The transparent cartilage called "fune" inside the body is pulled and removed

Cut out the internal organs, remove the eyes, and squeeze out the beak that is inside the lower legs

4

Rinse with water and peel off the skin of the squid
